Hand рука (фр. main): рука человека – часто встречается в латах; хотя в ранних гербовниках такой случай – единственный. Когда не указано положение это значит открытая ладонь (apaumé), как на гербе ULSTER, бэдже баронета Великобритании; она может быть расположена как на щитке, так и на вольной части (canton). См. Baronet. По-другому рука может быть показана тыльной стороной (dorsed, или, как иногда называют, aversant); или она может быть положена в пояс, или расположена пальцами вниз, или сжата в кулак clenched, или держит какой-либо объект holding some object; рука обычно отрезана по запястью couped at the wrist, выше или ниже его; обычно правая рука названа, и благодаря этому узнавали, что это не левая рука; руки в доспехах должны быть описаны как (gauntlets).
