Meuble Toute figure qui charge un écu. On appelle meuble tout ce qui se place sur l'écu et qui n’est pas pièce honorable, tout ce qui charge, brise ou accompagne les pièces, les divisions d’un écu, les animaux, fleurs, objets, etc. 1887 Nom héraldique des objets de toutes sortes qui paraissent dans les armoiries. 1899 Nom donné à toutes les pièces secondaires ou objets qui se placent sur le champ de l'écu, leur variété est presqu’infinie; les pièces principales ou honorables peuvent en être chargées. Les figures dites meubles sont les arbres, tours, étoiles, fleurs, armes, animaux, etc … 1901 On donne ce nom générique à tout symbole, à tout emblème ou à toute pièce couvrant le champ de l'écu. 1905 Toute figure qui charge un écu. On appelle meuble tout ce qui se place sur l'écu et qui n’est pas pièce honorable, tout ce qui charge, brise ou accompagne les pièces, les divisions d’un écu, les animaux, fleurs, objets, etc. [ghhe]
