VAMBRACED, Vambrace, or Avant bras.  

                Vambrace is armour for the arm, entirely covering it, but Avant bras, covering for the fore part only. Vambraced implies that the whole limb is covered with armour. P. 36, f. 16, 17 and 19. (ELVN)
