When an animal is wounded with an arrow, the arrow should not pierce through the animal; the proper term in that case is transfixed. (ELVN)

Раненое, истекающее кровью животное (wounded and bleeding). Часто исп. по отн. к пеликану (см.). Иногда исп. формулировка кровоточащий (distilling drops of blood, или gouttes de sang) более корректный по отн. к отрубленной голове.
