Broom Обыкновенный дикий куст ракитника, ракитник венечный (Cytisus scoparius), дрок, Planta-genista(fr. genкt)) у старых авторов. Веточка sprig этого кустарника выбрана как бэдж королевского дома Плантагенетов, которые утверждают, что они получили свою фамилию в связи с тем, что один из их предков носил ветвь дрока на шлеме, - в знак наказания или повиновения, символом чего является дрок.
