The Arms are borne impaled, the husband’s on the dexter and the wife’s on the sinister, as P. 10, f. 21. If the woman is an Heiress, or Co-Heiress, her Arms are borne in an Escutcheon of Pretence ; as P. 11, f. 21. < ELVN
