Escroll свиток Escroll или Scroll: длинная полоса пергамента, несущая на себе девиз. В большинстве своём располагался под гербом, но иногда, особенно в Шотландии, под нашлемником. Иногда свитки находят в обех этих позициях. В качестве гербовых фигур свитки выступают редко.
