Satyrs Один из монстров у которого человеческая фигура комбинируется в нижней части с животным. Сатир и сатирал (Satyrals) не встречаются в гербах кроме щитодержателей (нпр. герб лорда STAWELL), но голова сатира (см.) есть в одном гербе. Mantiger или Lampago, называемые писателями Montegre и Manticora, также встречается, нпр. тело геральдического тигра, с головой старика с длинными спиральными рогами. Щитодержатели в гербе Earl of HUNTINGDON без рогов. Тритон (Triton или mer-man) служит щитодержателем, нпр. в гербе Lord LYTTELTON, и в более чем одном нашлемнике, нпр. Sir Tatton SYKES и семейство LANG (Leicestershire и Suffolk). Нептун (Neptune, см.) в гербе Sir Isaac HEARD, Garter King of Arms 1750, некоторыми описывается как Тритон.
