Cormorant Большой баклан Aylet ~ Cormorant Cormorant (lat. Phalacrocorax, fr. Cormoran), Некоторыми натуралистами пишется Corvorant, иногда встречается в гербах. Встречается в гербе WARBURTON, главная фигура в гербе Ливерпуля., известен и описан также под названием lever (?). Возможно, название Sea Aylet (=cornish chough) также может означать птицу, родственную большому баклану (корнуоллская клушица, разновидность вороны, с красными лапами). Головы бакланов описываются иногда как головы корнуоллской клушицы.

Sea Aylet возможно близкий по форме большому баклану, но не определённый, к какому биологическому виду он принадлежит, в Gannapie (?) , найден в нескольких гербах и ссылается на геральдические труды.
