Annulet fr. anneau, anelet; во мн.ч. иногда пишется anelettz или anels маленькое кольцо (в геометрическом значении) возможно, производное от кольчужных колец. Частая фигура, обычно числом более одного. Два кольца часто связываются в пояс или сцепляются (embraced), или объединяются (conjunct). Три кольца подобным образом могут сплетаться (interlaced ) в треугольник. когда три кольца переплетены используется выражение «gimbal rings», а когда больше – это уже форма цепи (см. chain). Кольцо в английской системе бризур/каденций служит меткой, присваемой пятому сыну.
