               A Column ducally crowned and a Column envelloped with a snake. A broken Column and a Winged Column. f. 51. This last is sometimes, though not correctly, called a flying column. (ELVN)

colonne - column (arch); sometimes depicted as, and indistinguishable from, a billet. FRGL
