Quartered Более корректный термин исп. по отн. к щиту, разделённому на четыре и более частей для принятия нескольких разных гербов. Термин обычно исп., когда четверти принадлежат одному гербу, хотя встречается фраза « 'France' and 'England' quarterly». Ср. с отличием «impaling» от «party per pale».
