«Gules, three solefish argent» – John de SOLES, Kent.

«Per pale or and gules, a chevron counterchanged between three soles azure and argent» – SOLEY, Worcestershire.

К указанным можно добавить камбалу (flounder или flook – шотландское название), которые по видимости отних не отличаются. Mr.Moule также находит, что в графстве Ярмут её назувают «butt», а в Корнуолле – «carter fish»; соотв. он считает, что рыбы в гербах BUTTS и CARTER относятся к этому роду. С такими названиями как «bret fish» или «birt» он не определился. Следующие примеры взяты из его работы.
